Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Risbud is a leading international authority in intervertebral disc biology and the molecular mechanisms underlying disc degeneration. His pioneering work has established fundamental paradigms linking cellular metabolism, hypoxia, inflammation, and senescence to disc health and disease. In Germany, Professor Risbud’s research will focus on the mechanisms that drive early onset disc degeneration and chronic back pain, advancing biologically based strategies for degenerative spine disorders. |
